Privacy policy

In short: the audio files you drop on CrateKeys never leave your computer. Key analysis, tagging and conversion happen entirely in your browser; we can't see your files, their names or their contents, and we don't store them. The site is funded by ads. Ads are served by Google, which may use cookies to do so.

Your audio files

Files you choose or drop are processed only in your browser's memory and are never sent to any server. They are cleared from memory when you close the tab. “Save to folder” writes only to the folder you pick, with your browser's permission.

What the site itself stores

Only your language preference: a cookie named dil (1 year) and the same value in browser storage. There are no accounts, forms or newsletters. To see which pages are visited and how fast they load, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics: it sets no cookies, doesn't identify you and doesn't store your IP address.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). With every page request, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser information to deliver the page and protect it against attacks. When you open the root address (/), only the country is derived from your IP address and used to send you to that language's page; we don't store it.

Advertising

Ads are served by Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads and prevent fraud. If you consent, they may show personalized ads based on your visits to this and other sites. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, your consent is collected through Google's certified consent tool and can be changed at any time via Cookie preferences.

Rewarded video ads only start when you choose “Watch ad”, and you can close them at any time.

Purposes and legal bases

• Delivering and securing the site (Cloudflare): legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Remembering your language: at your request; legitimate interest.
• Advertising cookies and personalization: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time.

International transfers

Google and Cloudflare may process data on servers outside your country, including in the USA. Both companies participate in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and use standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Send requests to orangecraftstudiohq@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days. Since we don't store anything about you ourselves, requests about advertising data are resolved fastest through Google's own tools.

Children

CrateKeys is not directed at children under 16.
